- The cage clamp terminals accept the same conductor size or type of cable as the relevant screw type terminals.

- The terminals are in the ‘open’ position on delivery, the contact pressure of the cage clamp spring remains constant.
- With fingertip pressure onto the terminal it is reliably and permanently closed once the cable conductor is inserted.

- The terminals can be re-opened and conductor pulled out and used again without any problem, this is not possible with terminals that cut into cable conductors.
