Bals Elektrotechnik receptacle combinations systems complying with new low voltage switchgear and control gear assemblies standard IEC 61439

The new standard IEC 61439:2012 has replaced the previous IEC 60439. It describes the design, construction and requirements for low-voltage switchgear assemblies and therefore has a considerable impact on electrical power distribution in industry, for domestic installation and on construction sites.

With Bals Elektrotechnik receptacle combinations, you are protected in every aspect: Our most recent generation fully meet the specifications of the new standard.

The basic requirements are defined in IEC 61439-1 General definitions and adapted to the specifics of the respective application by the addition of corresponding standard part. We therefore make a distinction between 3 categories in this product group:

  1. IEC 61439-2: Power switchgear and control gear assemblies
  2. IEC 61439-3: Distribution boards
  3. IEC 61439-4: Assemblies for construction sites
